Anyone have any clue what everyone is actually saying during ninpo casts? And what it actually means? Im sad they didnt use this battle cry for ayane... Its like ayane's most bad-ass moment ever.

i think Hayate should be playable in NG3 man, he's damn cool.

and haha Ayane ninpo kill everything, in NGS2 in MNM, it doesn't even kill any enemies lol. but i guess that's because its to make the game difficulty. in Acolyte and Warrior, u can kill everyone w/ that ninpo except boss.

They are talking in sankrit, also known as kuji-in in letters.
The letters you see around each character when using ninpo are in sankrit and thats how they create like a "shield" so enemies cant get close and they they unleash the energy.

Meanings in Buddhism
* Rin, to confront
* Pyō /Hyō/Hei to soldier on
* Tō, to Battle with
* Sha, Against One/Person
* Kai, With everyone/entire/group
* Jin, The formation
* Retsu, In a row
* Zai, To Presence
* Zen, To move Forward

Meanings in Ninjutsu
* Rin - Strength
* Pyō / Hyō - Channel
* Tō - Harmony
* Sha - Healing
* Kai - Sense of Danger
* Jin - Reading of thoughts.
* Retsu - Control space and time.
* Zai - sky or elements control.
* Zen - enlightenment.

Meanings in Shinto
* Rin: To face.
* kyō /Hyō/Hei: The soldier.
* Tōh: To fight.
* Sha: The man (or the people); a foe
* Kai: The all, or the whole effect, or whole effort.
* Jin: In Formation, or position in camp or to prepare.
* Retsu: To move in column or a row, in a line; or marching, or to focus.
* Zai: To appear, or to exist to make yourself known, or create existence.
* Zen: To be in front. or show up in front.

I love this type of stuff so I am glad they went crazy with it in NG2/S2. They specifically went all out on NG DS, there you can hear each kuji-in from Ryu and Momiji when you "paint" on when using a ninpo and then when they are done they chant a quick spell and unleashes it.
You can hear it in NGS2 as well when using Ultimate Ninpo.
It is very very difficult to understand what they are saying or what it means, but when you hear it you get a sense how it is pronounced.

Even in NG when Ryu confronts Emperor, he starts to chant with "armseals" and then carve out a big rock from the ground, that is my favorite one, Ryu has crazy potential in CG but gets nerfed in game.

Watch on 1:50 and then 4:45

But yeah... interesting stuff. Wish we could actually decipher what they are saying.

Does rachel use sankrit too? She sounds like she says Va Vinius or somthing to that extent. And her Ninpo is kind of designed around bloody rose vines. Sounds like somthing that could possibly be latin?You can see her cast ninpo at 7:02 in the video.

Man, that ending...

Sometimes i wish they decided to make Ninja Gaiden games as outrageous as the DOA4 endings, as in Ryu versus Jets and firing Ninpo in midair akuma style and gliding through the city... Hayate car jumping and breaking large things with a fricking arrow... and Ayane running around dodging enemies to just nuke locations up

That's some crazy trivia you got going there Sath. Didn't think it'd be so much, like ... you's know someone deciphered the words around the casting animation in Bayonetta, and it turned out that it just the letters of the word Bayonetta...

yeah, god thx he dont have all the strange stuff from the videos. I mean, I dont really wanna smash enemies with a giant rock or some kind of a "Ha-Do-Ken" move, whatsoever.

It's a game based on melee combat.

And the Emperor bossfight was pretty cheap and looked utterly retarded with that plattform Ryu controlled during the fight.

Aww. I enjoyed that fight even if it was rediculously easy. Laughing

The piercing Void on aga ichi ya sowaka
the mages say on sanmaya sato ban or om namauk samanda basara kan man

I think Rachel Says during her Aphrodite Spell Onda Ryuwa in English she says Va Venius Venus is greek I think for Aphrodite. I don't know what she chants during the Ultimate Ninpo Spell cant really hear
IN NGS2 Ayane says during her Ninpo Om Barasa Yakusha!!
for Art of the Inferno he just says Om Basara tsowa!!
