Yeah, I guess it won't be as bad. I still think having a windmill shuriken on his arm would look alot sleeker aesthetically.

I hate all of the projectiles.

And I hate the crazy glued bow even more.

i dont get it either.
I mean the triggers are for primary projectiles which is the canon or the bow and O for shuriken.

Having both of them available in real time is better than keep bringing up the menu for changing.
I think the reason why people dont want it is a visual thing, and I don't blame them.

I would like to unequip the "primary" projectile as well if I had the option, but on some outfits like traditional ninja outfits that I love and plan on using regularly it looks good.

But ah well, nothing big really, it doesn't bother me that much.

There are some nice combos that involves air arrow and then shuriken so it gives you more hits and more enemy stuns.

I'm confused myself because in NG2 he swung a massive scythe folded it over and stuck it on his back. Its not really something to complain about imo.

I think they are just doing it because of the realism.

Edit: and it happened in NG1. With all the weapons such as ddb and uf. They were always on his back so why complain at a bow? Confused

No idea, I personally like it because it makes the character look more gears up for a journey.
Atleast this time you don't have to keep swinging shurikens to bow all the time when needed.

but sometimes I do like the clean look where I only got the melee weapon on the back and thats it, I mostly prefer that though, but its not big of a deal when I have the advantage to use real time bow and arrows to shurikens.

Well, you didn't always have to have a bow + a bigger weapon in NG1/2. You could have smaller projectiles and a bigger weapon if you wanted or bow + smaller weapons.

I think it's the idea of being forced to do something, is what players don't like sometimes and this is especially true for the look of a game character compared to what they could do in previous editions.

People don't like being forced to have the bow and cannon equipped for most of the game, they'd like to give Ryu some breathing room, so to speak. Smile

All I'm saying is: Options, Hayashi. People love them!

^ What he said.
Some people actually DO hate seeing the Scythe and DDB on Ryu's back (me for example) but didn't complain because you can actually unequip them.

I do agree that having a simle weapon on the back and thats that FOR LOOKS is good.
But I will say this, having options has always been my line really, give people options and you wont hear any complains from neither sides.

I personally hate using big weapons, but I only use them for something I call "crowd control" meaning if I am kind of stuck or dont have time for them I bring up the big stuff Razz but then I switch back to my trusty and lovely katana Cool

I get it. Thanks.

I agree the options are a good thing. And some are unforgiveable but the item on the back doesn't bother me personally.

Doesn't bother YOU.
There are other people in the world who ARE bothered.

Yeah, I'm launching cats over here, lol.

So many things in this game that I would like to see but are slowly being shot down. Hopefully NG3 will be the definitive version we'd all like to see.

No, but they can still please the fans who actually matter.

Really? Because I see people here pretty much agreeing making Ninja Gaiden into GTA is a no no.
Let that set the bar for fans who matter and fans who don't.
