NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Maybe it was misunderstood or something. It could've been. He said almost the same thing for DOA4. He said it was the best fighting game he could ever make and that this was last (from what i remember) and then later said it was just the end of that story arc. Or maybe, Hayashi will be making the rest of the NGs. They did also so that if NGDS sells well, that they might make another.

Knowing Itagaki, he's probably serious. He may change his tune down the road though.

"I think we were able to achieve everything we wanted with this game so anything else would be extraneous."

I don't get it. Didn't Itagaki say the Ninja Gaiden series is still in its infancy stage compared to what Itagaki has been able to do with the DOA series? This is a huge turn around.

Maybe Itagaki does not want Ninja gaiden to end up like most japanese franchise's.

For example Final fantasy has 12 fvcking sequal's!

So does the Gundam series.

It can only ensure by the confidence that Itagaki said that with that he has a epic fvcking ending in store for us!

Personally, I have no problem with the series comeing to an end.

Although it's ending is a bit premature, if it goes out in flame and glory then I'm satisfied.

Well the second link had this clip:

Due for release in the UK on June 6th, Team Ninja's Tomonobu Itagaki has today revealed to TVG that Ninja Gaiden II will be the final instalment in the fast-paced action franchise he'll be in control of.

Perhaps this does mean that they could continue without him (and hopefully they won't suck).

Well it's not like the series is coming to an end, we just won't see a sequel any time soon, at least not by him.

It's more like how Hironobu Sakaguchi passed on Final Fantasy to the company, or like how Yuji Naka stopped involving with anything Sonic.

well i have no qualms with NG series ending because, even though they released a sequel , it will definitely be repititive. So well you can expect alot of DLC for this game. New costumes, new weapons, or survival mode. In the end I m a bit sad that there will be no part 3, and I feel there wont be a game like this in the next coming 5 yrs . And If one came out ,everyone would call it a rip off. Well I m sure if a new next gen console came out, They d make a remake LOL Laughing
