I got some multiplayer idea's and edit it when i got an new one.
If you got one post and ill add it.
Note: write is good so i can copy past it directly
note2: i am not good at making titles so if you got better ones?

Mine idea's
1. Stage Clearing
2 players start a little stage (around 10-15 min) the one who clears its the first and get to the finish WINS.

2. Ninja survivor
each player start in a empty erea. Then a small group of ninjas/fiend/what ever comes to you. you got a specific time to clear it for the next group is coming, strongs and stronger. The player thats alive the longest wins

3. Boss fights
Both of the players get a list of bosses, you get(around 10-20-30-etc(customizable) time to get as much points as you can get. How Stronger the boss, how more points, different techniques, time each boss, etc..

4. The path of your life
One is playing(defender) in an area (kinda big) the other one is a spectator(attacker) with a list of enemy's.
the "attacker" got *** points let say 10 (to begin with) a spider ninja kost 4 points. so the "attacker" send 2 of them.
Now 2 spider ninja's are spawning at the "Defender". he needs to kill those.
Both the "Defender" and the "Attacker" is getting points

The "Defender" get points when: Kill/combo/weapon.
For example of he got 100 points a life powder sag is spawning and at 500 he gets an weapon upgrade etc.

The "Attacker" gets point when spawning enemy's, the stronger the more points.
When he gets more points he can "buy" better creatures to send.
Note: If an "Attacker" got enough points for a miniboss he gets an delay for ** minutes.

When the "Defender" is dead the role is going to switch.
The "Defender" with the most points/kills/time alive wins.

5. Le Ninja Parkour
Its pretty simple.
you both got and course with obstacles. the first player who is at the finish wins.
Note: of course there are different courses with different difficulty.

well all theories sound nice, but really if i wanted a multi player for gaiden i would prefer different variants of characters that could be used. Even bosses alike. My point is that all the time attack stuff and what not have been done by most games. And T.I definitely will not copy other games. The best thing i can think of as a multi player would be each ninjas battling each other. but there are people who can counterattack the minute they are hit once,like me and i ll pull of an izuna. or I mite spam a G. Throw . So its not balanced. if they want a good online they could bring in other ninja characters with uniQ settings so that they fight to the death. Or they could co operate to take down bosses which wouldn't be as good. So yeah i don't support multi player for this game. but If i wanted anything close to that. I would be combat all round in different environments and boss characters choose able as well. I wouldn't mind if hayate from DOA was in it .

All those ideas could be done offline and then online with rankings through modes like time attack or survivor mode or even mission mode, I think the only thing that suits a game like NG multi-player wise is duels or fights with your friends in large ninja battles with melee weapons, projectiles and ninpos but that would make it another DOA or another Soul Calibur and that is why T.I canceled the whole MP idea Smile

An arena based mode where you compete to kill the most of a limited number of enemies would be nice, as well as some sort of survival mode similarly-set. NG would not have any sort of MP longevity though. Just not built for MP in its current incarnations.

I can see the future.

I see this.

Any multiplayer iteration of NG would be like other similar action multiplayer ideas.

A crap ass last second add on that would waste disc space and be abysmal in every way.

Anybody remember FURY!?!

Actually, there was an action game created specifically with multiplayer in mind awhile back, Phoenix something, but its average review was like, a three outta ten.




I mean really, DOA is TN's multiplayer game, and the beach volleyball games are the single player games for lonely males, and NG is for the gamers with their action helmets on.

Pretty much.

It was Iron Phoenix, and it rocked. Too bad it tanked due to being a full-priced title without any sort of single player at all. Oh well.

I think there was a tutorial in there somewhere...see Shadowrun for the 360 for a good idea of what to expect. Although Shadowrun was better.

Ryu is so damn badass that he would overshadow any (and I do mean ANY) co-op partner or adversary.
