I'll be playing NG/NGB until NG2 comes out. Although, I did manage to go a whole week without playing it. That's right, not even DOA4 can keep me away from NGB (Well, it did for a week).

NG/NGB is one of a select group of games that give me an 'itch' as so to speak. And when i get that itch i need to play it.

that list includes:

Halo:Combat Evolved

Streetfighter (basically any of them apart from that pishy EX one)

NG/NGB

Metal Slug 3

Earthworm Jim on the N64

LoZ:OOT

So i wont get bored of it for a long long time

A whole week only? If I'm too busy playing something else, I can easily go for a month without MG/NGB.

Yea, come this March I will officially have been playing NG for 2 years. That's a LONG lifeline for a video game.

I really think it depends on peoples skill level and what they are looking for in the game. If the higher levels are to hard, people are going to get bored with it. If they just playthrough and don't care about score or improvong, they are going to get tired of it. I've got upset at the game many a times, but never truly tired of it because of the goals I want to reach. It's ruined me for others games.

2 years? Surely you have played a game longer then that.

Find it hard to believe if I may say so. I have some games on the box and PC and I still play them.

Umm... I think you misunderstood me. NG is the only game that has kept me playing it for 2 years straight. I think my longest break from NG was maybe a month. Other than that, I was always playing it. Even when I had other games, I would just jump from one game to NG constantly. NG is the only game I've played that has kept me interested in it for such a long time.

Since you put it that way, I can scratch over half of the games that I play because it got me hooked. So less then half of the games are what I play very much, very long.

Im with sabo

until NG2 folks

but this game is hardcore

and tons of replay value

i wonder how it would be if someone would beat the whole mission mode on master ninja with only nunchaku

this could be a world wide challenge^^^^^

if anyone does this they are the best at NGB (bar none)(confirmed) (etc.)

Giants of the Underworld 5 with nunchuku is impossible. Sorry. Not by Kyoioiri, not by platinum, not by Tuttle, not by Weibull, Bigalski, Psaran or, in fact, anyone.

Agreed! This game is seriously like crack. I've never found a game so absorbing and so involving. I've probably stopped playing for maybe a week or 2 at a time. I have about 50-60 other games that I have and since playing NG I've beaten 3 of them. Halo, PoP: SOT, and Spongebob Razz. I have some games that haven't even been played once.

Plus I used to be really into the xbox modding scene and writing code for the xbox dashboard. Since NG, I have not written one single line of code Sad

I can't even imagine the impact NG2 will have on my life Shocked Shocked

And Edge, you should be locked up for even thinking of things such as GotU5 with chucks. *shivers in horror* Shocked
But I LOVE the new sig. That cracked me up! Laughing

I'm taking a long break from the game. I'll probably start playing again in April to finish MN. Then I'll take another break and start playing again in June.
