Here are images and more info:
• Bayonetta, directed by DMC creator Hideki Kamiya, and is described by the site’s correspondent as a “stylish action game” with “a witch battling angels”. Apparently she has guns on her feet.

Bayonetta is a stylish and cinematic action game, directed by Hideki Kamiya, set for release in 2009 on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system. A witch with powers beyond the comprehension of mere mortals, Bayonetta faces-off against countless angelic enemies, many reaching epic proportions, in a game of 100% pure, unadulterated all-out action. Outlandish finishing moves are performed with balletic grace as Bayonetta flows from one fight to another. With magnificent over-the-top action taking place in stages that are a veritable theme park of exciting attractions, Bayonetta pushes the limits of the action genre, bringing to life its fast-paced, dynamic climax combat.

I hope it's a good game.

I usually keep myself away from games with guns. I don´t like to walk through all kind of levels and just shooting all the time. Never got into this typ of games.

Furthermore she looks really silly with her hair looking like a spikey turban.

Nevertheless, I´m gonna keep an eye on it.

Bayonetta is one of the best examples of great game design. The game does things that are just amazing my thinking. There are many things to gripe about when it comes to this game.

Bayonetta is on top of all of the fun in an old school hard sort of way extravaganza. graphics beautiful, beautiful score, although you'll probably get tired of the main themes of the struggle for a few passages. Incredible multiplayer and more Unlock-ables, than any game I've seen in recent years. Definitely worth the price of admission to get this great game.

Talk about one hell of a game. It will be difficult to take the Beat 'em All formula to higher levels than this… 'cause it takes a lot to actually dethrone Ninja Gaiden in my game list in two weeks ! DMC-like they say, but I never got into DMC3 the way I did into Bayonetta. The former had me bored very quickly.

The combos are great, the ennemies are varied, the musics are epic (well, most of them), the difficulty is perfectly balanced (and in a way, adjustable with some special items !) and, rare for a beat 'em all, almost no camera screws ! Even with half a dozen Affinities and Applauds on screen I was never lost. Even the story is pretty decent, even if there are some holes.
The tons of unlockables and the clever ranking system make you eager to progress constantly. This game has one of the highest replay values I know, I can't tell how many playthroughs I did with the same excitement.

There are only a few things that bugged me :
−The cardinal virtues and Jubileus are bit too easy and repetitive once you get their patterns. That last "avoid the planets" mini-game to finish Jubileus is annoying too, how many times did I screw an otherwise perfect fight because of that -___-
−Kinships… who the hell designed such cheap enemies ò__Ô They attack you even after you destroy them, seriously !
−The "road 666" chapter is a pain… the only chapter in the game I do reluctantly. Plus the PS3 version has a horrible slowdown at the beginning of the chapter…
−There are too many cool but useless weapons : I basically use only Shuraba, Kilgore, Durga and sometimes Pillow Taik (its "UT" is pretty devastating against Inspired and Braves) and Rodin (usually against flamed enemies and Jeanne). I only use Kulshedra for "stay up air for X seconds" Alfheims and Odette in some Alfheim challenges as well. Sai Fung is fun but ridiculously weak, terrible for combo points too. Scarborough Fair, Onyx Roses, Bazillion and the simple guns are barely any different and don't have any real advantage…
−Also, not a big deal but it's a pity that swithcing weapons in the middle of a combo stops that combo. In other words I wish they had put more hidden, switch-based combos like the so called "Kilgore Glitch".

That's about all for the let-downs… so to put it briefly, this game is not too bad.

This is amazing game with pretty fun combat. The entire atmosphere of this game is rocking with style and humor. Everything is amazing in this game, graphics are awesome, weapons and actions are pretty good. Bayonetta is fantastic and full of action game, I really like it and highly recommended for Xbox 360 owners.
