Alright cool. I'll be making the adjustments.

But for the pincer fiends, I wasn't talking about the wasp. I was talking about the ones you see Rachel fighting off at the beginning of the HP2. They kinda looked like buffed out wolverine fiends. Ya wouldn't happen to know their names too would ya?

Hmmm, you got me there. Any name would sound good for those suckers.

I believe they are called Shadow Fiends. Could be mistaken though.

Hey I'm almost done with my Hp2 faq. I just have 2 more questions

How do you guys think I should write the enemy information section? Should I just describe their looks so players will be familiar with them when I mention them in the walkthrough or give tips about them?

Also I'm up against the Whip Lady Fiend (whatever her name is) again and I can't seem to hit her unless I get lucky. Any of you guys have any solid strats for this broad??

Forget it, I found a way to beat her.

*edit* I ranked #216 with a score of 3371438. Not bad.

I suggest you only describe the new enemies that are not in the regular game (mainly HP1 and HP2 enemies).
Players should already know the regular enemies when they read your FAQ so keep it strictly about the newer ones.

As for your strategy for the last boss? Sorry, I can't help you there. You'll have to come up with a bulletproof strategy for that boss (or else you'll sound like you don't know what you're doing).

**REMINDER: If you decide to use Saryah's or anyone else's strategy for that boss, be sure to give credit where it's due.

This strategy works pretty good. The Dragon Tear (XXXY) is the only move that she cannnot hit you out of. Every other combo I've try isn't consistent.

off-topic: we should propably make Weibull a V.I.P. or something. because Ninja Dog doesn't suit him.

That's definitely a solid strat ya got there weibull760.

So does the whip boss always use that standard combo? And do you have to intercept the 2 consecutive hits or can you sneak in the Dragon Tear after your first intercept. Also is there a definite range that you should be at?

For the most part, her ground combos consist of the 3 whip slashes and the 2 hit kick-slap thingy. She'll also do the spin-whip move and the knee to foot slam but not as often. And yes you can get in your combo after her first strike but sometimes she'll recover before you finish your combo. Its usually better to intercept all hits, then counter. And the range for this tech. to work is up close or about a swords length away.

I just got somewhat lucky that she didn't do her swinging move cuz she'll do that sometimes regardless of your distance to her. But if you stay in close, she'll never do the laser or the dash move.

If there's anything else just let me know. Can't wait to see the finished FAQ!

Its probably good to mention though that while you can get the fastest kill that way, its not good for high karma scores. If you're going for max karma, you need to "milk" her for as many intercepts as possible (50 max or until your time is about to end).

The other vids on my site (ph. 5 ones and whip boss ones) show her other moves and such.

By the way, the "Hell Knight" fiends are usually referred to as "Vigoorian Berserkers". You know, the ones the Dab. description talks about.

Hell Knights are those tossers in the original Quake who you could kill easily with the Axe.
