List of Classic Game available for Revolution

As most of you know, one of the great features of the Nintendo Revolution will be the ability to download classic Nintendo games and play them on the Revolution. Clearly, Nintendo has taken a cue from the emulation scene. An updated list of the 200+ games has been posted at the Nintendo Forums, but the interesting thing to note (thanks, BJ!) is that some of these titles require special devices such as Hey You Pikachu which needs a microphone and Pokemon Stadium which requires the GB adapter. But if the Revolution controller is any indication, who knows what Nintendo will come up with.

'ExciteBike' is going to be a download. Awesome.

As for the Revo's release date, sources are saying Holiday's 2006.

I have all of those and then more stored on my Xbox HDD.

If the controller is not good, downloading (and paying for it) old games won't save it.

Yes it would suck horribly bad if we had to pay for the games, that alone would cause me to not buy it. unless nintendo came out with a bunch of kick ass games like the DS.

We do. They aren't just going to give these games to us for free if there's a chance that they could earn a profit.

You already have the NG trilogy on NG for Xbox.

Mortal Kombat on the SNES sucked because Nintendo removed all the gory moves. Proof: the Genesis version outsold the SNES version by 3 to 1.

Perfect Dark was a mere shadow of GoldenEye.

And all these are balanced out by the inclusion of DONKEY KONG COUNTRY!!! And KILLER INSTINCT GOLD!!! Games I thought I'd never see on there since Rare went to M$!!!

DKC is an overrated series. It was only popular because of it's pretty face.

KI... meh.... average fighter.

As for GoldenEye and Perfect Dark.... ugh... I'll pass on those. I couldn't play those butt ugly games today.

You WILL have to pay. They won't be giving you free games.

Just hope it's a low price.

I heard something about 10-25 cents for NES Games, $1-3 for SNES, and $5-10 for N64. These prices are reasonable IMO. Not sure if these are true though.

I bet the NES games will be more expensive than that.

First, my NG doesn't work. Second, my NES NG's don't work. Third, the xbox controller sucks for the trilogy. Fourth, it was the SNES versions

Perfect dark was everything Goldeneye was and then some. It even had CPU's in multiplayer so you could still have fair games with an odd number of people. "Combat Simulator">>>>>Goldeneye Multiplayer

I never really knew that the SNES Mortal Kombat's were less gory or worse than the sega ones. Either way, I don't have a Genesis and nintendo aren't offereing the Genesis versions. So no MK.

I knew DKC would be there since DK is a Nintendo trademark first. And yeah, they are amazing games but they work fine on my SNES. The games I mentioned were all games that either don't work for me, or I no longer have.

And NOTHING on that list makes up for the absence of Harvest Moon.

It plays Gamecube discs. Just buy one of the Gamecube versions.
