Christmas is around the corner and my parents are constantly bugging me with "What do you want?" Seriously, I don't really want anything. I've told them countless times but they don't listen. They finally decided they were going to get me a game without me saying so. Rolling Eyes

Anyways, I told them if they're going to do that then at least get me a game that I would play. They asked me what I wanted and I drew a blank.

Any suggestions?

I'm looking for something in the Action genre of course. Maybe even a little bit of an Adventure game as well. If you know of a REALLY good RPG then go ahead and suggest that.

So far, from the top of my head all I can think of is:

Shadow of the Colossus(Sp.?) and Xyanide (Which isn't out yet...)

I tried Tenchu... didn't like it. I'll stick to MGS3 for my stealth needs. As for Shadow, I already rented it and didn't really enjoy it. Nice try though. Wink

Well.... Did you ever play Shining Force on the sega genisis? Because the other day, I saw a remake of it for PS2. It was called, "Shining Force Neo." If it's anything like the original game, it should be a kickass RPG. I haven't actually played it though, so you might want to read some reviews or something first.

For some sick fun, try Postal 2 Twisted Evil

If not, give Quake 4 a try. Really good action game IMO. Also, if you get the Special Edition you also get Quake 2 with two expansions on one DVD.

Well, Sabo, I don't know what consoles you own. Right now, Gamecubes are going INSANELY cheap ($60 in some places), and have a fair amount of good games and retro collections worth looking at. I would recommend Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Skies of Arcadia Legends, Megaman Mega Collection and Mario Sunshine. The up-and-coming LoZ:Twilight Princess looks really good as well and I've heard nothing but praise for RE4.

If you want an Xbox game, then Panzer Dragoon Orta and Jet Set Radio Future are great games to look out for. Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind will just plain eat your soul (if you can avoid the constant crashes that some copies are plagued with), and I've also heard good things about Lego Star Wars.

Halo CE is out for the PC now, I seem to recall. Don't know if it has online play but it would be a good way to have DM's in a balanced FPS.

One game to avoid, though, is Alien Hominid. It's good fun, but it's lastibility is terrible unless you have enough mates to have multiplayer sessions with.
