Ummm......i need some help here.

i'm currently at the infinite-ninja-farming-spot after the 2nd save point in chapter 1.
i intend to farm for 1 week or so to get enough $ to obtain lvl 2 claws + lvl 3 Lunar before end of chapter 2.

anyway, is there any trick to take care of those IS ninjas ahead?
that part after those 2 arrow guys on the top of the building, where you need to swing some poles and then IS ninjas and explosive arrow ninjas appear.

1) maybe i should trigger the fight and let them chase me all the way back to the 2nd save point?

2) also, i wonder if it's possible to avoid the 9 Rasetsu + IS ninjas in chapter 11.
if not, it's time to spam piercing void (4 ninpo slots + 2 spirit of the devils + 3 devil elixirs + talisman of rebirth = 22 ninpo slots to spam void). Very Happy

OK, first, don't farm. You will regret it and wonder if you could have done it without it. You don't need to farm and I guarantee that myself and a few of the others here can vouch for that fact.

As for the IS ninjas, best advice I can give is shoulder-hop stun them then use flying swallow. Honestly you should not have too much trouble.

Nikar, I'm with Cyber, you don't need to farm to beat MN. Although having level 3 weapons in the first few chapters probably would have been nice I guess.

I took out those IS ninjas (I assume you mean the ones below the swinging poles guarding the life of the gods) by going to get Lunar first, getting it to level 2, and then backtracking to do the optional fights. Lunar level 2 is IMO the best place to be during Chapter 1.

thanks guys! i farmed up to 89300+ for chapter 1 after 2nd save point and is now moving on with the game.

those grey explosive arrow archers that appear just before the pole swing are insane, though.
i think i'll try the run-back-to-save-point glitch on those. Smile

Sometimes not a bad call. I was quick to do that with a couple of spots with the archers. Not worth the loss of life to me.

Well even if do beat master ninja Nikar i'm not gonna have any respect for you.

Farming is pretty much for those who aren't good enough to complete the game normally; it's cheating.

MN really punishes you hard with the begining of each chapter, unfair bullshit.

it doesn't help that i didn't farm and stuck with level 2 weapon Sad

If you got a level 2 DS and Lunar, you're good to go since you can ID with both and the 360Y UT with the Lunar is brutal. If you use X+A, A to jump on an enemies head, you can come back with the ID with the DS and hopefully that'll get you started. The Lunar ID is X+A to target the closest enemy then XXY is another way to start.

Yeah.....

It isn't really necessary.

But it helps.

And I wouldn't exactly call it cheating.....

Unless its an infinite respawn kinda thing.

Which it could be.

I didn't know there were any places to really farm anyways Rolling Eyes

I still kinda think that they knew about these spots. I mean common, you test this game for mouths and don't catch this? As far as cheating... I guess like most things it depends on the person. Cyber and <O> from what we all see are hard-core gamers they have the experience, guts, and that little 'what if' monster that drives you insane. I myself am well aware of farming but I don't find it very interesting to hold a button then release over and over. But kinda adressing what sanman said, so as long as it isn't infinite it is not as bad as spaming UT's on unlimited eneimes... I kinda agree even if I don't do it. Think of it this way, when enemies are limited or of a certain type it's more closely related to regular combat seeing as if you pay attention to the turtorials you first time through it encourages you to chain UT's. So what I'm saying is there is a difference between farming in regular combat and then the true intent of sitting/coming back to one spot over and over killing enemies.

~Farming in the context of regular combat~

UT's chaining is done mostly create the ultimate invinciblity frames and attack at the same time. Then it can be used to just look SSStylish in general.
^Those and a few others are the are the main focus in battles with a limited enemy presence and the money simply comes with it!

~Farming in a infinite enemy situation~

In this fight the persons entire mind-set is different then above, they come into the fight for the sole purpose of abusing it for money.

So pretty much the person that exists to farm and nothings else is a weak baby from puddy tat land.

I started to farm the infinite enemies on Ch. 9 for a hot minute. About 15k in essence and 45 minutes later, my boredom took over and I just went on ahead. Little did I realize that Ch9 if played correctly nets you around 250k. Wouldn't have wasted 45 minutes.

Really, the game provides ample money from the course of just playing, farming is not required to finish. As long as you get Lunar to level 2 at the first shop, and the claws to level 2 once you get them, you really don't need anything else until you get the scythe Laughing
