I'm sure playing NG you've heard all of that Ninja gibberish and thought "This so stupid"!
NO. I did all that crap like believing in your weapon and all that other jazz that escapes me now, and what happened will shock you!
It's like I had transformed into somekind of death angel that rained down judgement on my enemies.
I saw things like never before. I moved with a ethereal confidence. My hands didn't shake, my concentration didn't break, all I had was my blade and all it had was me, and I knew with it I could never fail.
For those short minutes I was something else... Something more powerful.
Maybe those really great players are like this... I made Master Ninja look like a warrior.
You know how people say that music can effect your mood? Well I guess what I was listening to unlocked, if only for alittle bit my potential.
I liked it.
To bad I can't seem to do it again... |

Is it just me, or does anyone else just get randomly killed by like 1 or 2 enemies sometimes?
Not often, but I just got axed by one of the golden dragons in Chapter 3. From full health to dead in like 15 seconds. He caught me in 2 grabs, and then a jump attack. Normally one of those guys is just an excersice of limb removal with the claws.
Seems like sometimes the game just goes into a "Ryu must die" mode that you cannot survive. Like sometimes I'll go up against 5/6 IS niinjas, and they'll throw IS's a couple here and there, and other times they go nonstop. Does anyone know why this is, or is it just another weird thing from this glitchy game? _________________ Life could be simple |

Thats called bad luck.
Pretty much the game could destroy you at anytime, it just chooses not to. |

Ugh, I hate that fight. On Mentor I spammed the fireball ninpo on them. 4 slots, then used the slot upgrade, then shot all 5 shots, followed by 3 DWM. Worked like a charm, but it was pretty expensive.
Lunar's 360 UT when used OL is also very effective.
Here's my progress report, I just wrapped up the first ToV on Ch.3. I personally think this is the hardest ToV in the game, so hopefully I'll be able to do the rest of them as I move forward. _________________ Life could be simple |

Heh, cheers
On the 3 Rasetsu fight use art of the piercing void and as many TDS UTs as you can, eventually you'll get rid of them. UTs help alot. |

I'm thinking of doing Mentor and MN soon just to get the costumes.
So, basically, it's like:
1) spam DS's UT in chapter 1
2) get Lunar by chapter 2 upgraded to lvl 2
3) use Lunar all the way till you get the scythe
4) spam Scythe's UT all the way till you beat the game
That's my strat.
Good? |

Kind of good. I use all my weapons though. I mostly switch between lunar and claws. The wind run to flying izuna with the claws is a freaking lifesaver, and the sliding kick limb removal is perfect for thinning the herd.
I'll do 1-2 sliding kick to OT to start a fight against fiends, switch to lunar and spinning UT to finish, or flying izuna with claws pretty much non-stop with IS and arrow ninjas. _________________ Life could be simple |

It's weird, I get hung up on the strangest parts in this difficulty.
I am right at the halfway mark of Ch. 4. I am at the save prior to the mid boss. I can take him down without taking a hit using arrows, and then after the cutscene, I'm having a hard time getting to the next save point. It's so weird, because there is not a lot of enemies at all really. _________________ Life could be simple |

Chapter Thirteen.
Ok, need to know if I'm screwed.
I have one GOSL, two ninpo slots, APV Lv3, AOFlv3, AWB, DCTFlv3, ESlv3, DSlv4, and alot of money.
Volf got me good right when he had a little bit of health left it was like the game said "NO"!
It wouldn't let me hit him!
Then the start of the next chapter screwed me with the horde of enemies!
I'm doomed aren't I?! |

No way, Ch. 13 and 14 is what you saved your money for right?
I highly recommend stocking up at that first Muramasa shop. It's the only one in the level, and you have all those egg sacks to take out. Plus, you only have 2 earth dragon statues. You can skip the part at the end by just jumping down the hole.
The first part getting to the save is tough. windmill shuriken charged is a life saver. That tunnel with the egg sacks is tough, but not too bad if you only open 1 at once. _________________ Life could be simple |
