I'm doing things all out of order. I just got the claws, and now I'm backtracking to the start of Chapter 2 to get the Life of Gods item. Did the same thing on chapter 1, got Lunar and went back to pick up the previous life of gods.

Hmmm. Next up is the rod of trials. Fun fun fun. I did end up farming a bit on Chapter 1, and even with upgraded weapons, I'm still having trouble. The fight for the claws is just brutal, they throw so many more IS now.

Ok, so I'm making it through Chapter 2. I'm assuming that once I power some things up, this will get easier in some way correct? I'm having a ton of trouble with the nonstop IS and Arrow explosions. Any general tips? Seems like I go to OL UT, and will get an IS stuck in me before I can release, and all I did was tap Y. Just having oodles of trouble. I'm making progress, but very slowly.

Edit--Go figure, I post this, and then sit back down to play and ripped through the last half of the stage. It's all about doing a couple of dash jumps in between kills, which I hadn't been doing.

The best tip ever is level up Lunar and go apeshit with the aerial combos.

I only know the one aerial combo. XXY. Are there others?

What I started doing was using claws, wind run to flying izuna (invincible frames during wind run, flying swallow and izuna, then switching to lunar for the spinning UT

I used Lunar. Sorry.

In any case, Chapter 11 is a broken nightmare. I'm moving tomorrow so I didn't get much time to play, nor will I tomorrow, what with work and moving. Ah well.

Here's my strategy for beating Zedonius. This is going to be a a long strategy but it works so bare with me. At the beginning of the fight, he always takes to the air which is a good thing (unless he summons Gajas) because he will most likely always first start with his smash attack. When he does, reverse wind and jump out of the way to avoid it. To time it just wait until you see him fly higher, that's when you reverse wind and then jump but don't do the wind run jump, just the regular one. When he lands from his smash attack use the eclipse scythe and do the Y,Y,Y combo. It deals great damage. After that he'll circle around you on the ground. Just hit him with the Y attack once and nearly all the time he'll try to interrupt you with an attack or a grab. If he attacks counter him with the Y counter. Basically that's all you have to do. When he's on the ground just keep spamming that one Y attack and watch for his interrupter. When he's airborne just wait until he does the smash attack. If you see he's going to summon fiends then flying swallow him before he finishes his summoning to break it up if you don't want any fiends. To avoid his fireball attacks just circle around him. Don't jump or reverse wind because most of the time if you do either the last of the fireball attacks will hit you. When he summons that pillar of fire on the ground just keep running to avoid it. This is actually a good time to run up to him if he's on the ground to do the one hit then counter strategy. You can use almost all weapons to do this strategy but the Y,Y,Y combo with the scythe is the most damaging after you avoid his smash attack.
