It looks pretty good to me. I have a Dell but most of my friends hate Dell. They like HP or building their own computer.

A very nice pc indeed. Mine is slower at the moment (beyond dying, even), but from what I see it is a good system to play games on. And if you really have a big purse and your motherboard supports it, go SLI.

Christ, mine is almost dead...

Last night, he blacked out again. After four years, he's ready to be replaced.

of course a little late to reply to this post... but... even now that machine sounds great...
Now surely you'll get it with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor... (minimum)

But the 191GB Hard Drive is Still Huge ! Shocked

And 2 Gigs RAM is more than enough for today's apps... Too bad it's going to have Windows Vista as its OS Cry Baby

If you are familiarized with Linux, go for it blindly, and use Windows for gaming only Laughing

I switched to Mac, but sill have my IBM (for gaming purposes mostly...)

Consider something else but Windows... Hundreds of thousands of virus can't be wrong... Cool

I put mine together. It has an AMD DualCore at 3Ghz (yeah, I'm an AMD freak), enough coolers to make the damn thing airborne, 2GB of RAM, 320GB HDD, a 8600GTS an enough power in it to power two of those Laughing

My new 22" flatscreen makes the whole bunch complete, and ready to go for another few years.

both setups, especially ryu's, look pretty good to me. i prefer custom built pc's. i recently built a new rig, first time i ever did anything more complicated than installing ram or swapping video cards. it went easier than i thought. specs: intel core 2 quad q6600, nvidia 8800 GTS 640 mb, 2 gig ram, 800W power supply to keep the thing running and i have 5 fans, 3 blowing in and two out, to keep the thing running cool. i thought about water cooling but its only really for overclocking and SLI, plus logitech 5.1 surround sound system...runs games beautifully. look into upgrading the graphics card down the road if u want to use it for the newer pc games at high quality.
