DPad weapon switching would be clunky as hell. I'd rather not see it in the game at all to be honest. _________________

Why would you want Ninpo switching? It's not really an important part of the gameplay to begin with. Ninpo is underused. I'd like to see some new Ninpo attacks though now that you mention it. _________________

I'd like to see that to keep the speed of the game going. But that's just me. _________________

If that's your reasoning, wouldn't it make more sense to want weapon switching instead? Weapons are switched much more frequently than Ninpo is. _________________

You are absolutely correct my friend.
But, there are 4 Ninpo's. 4 points to assign them to. Now, we all know how big Ryu's arsenal is, and even if you could combine them (up and down to cycle through Ninpo, and left and right to cycle through weapons) it would feel awkward. Personally I like the magics ystem from God of War for that reason, and even more because you only have two weapons. _________________

have either of you ever played Kameo? in Kameo, you use the face buttons(A, B, X, Y) to shapeshift(change styes). it sounds awkward as hell, but it's pretty good IMO.
My point is: don't bash controls before you tried them. _________________

I don't need to try them to imagine how they would work, especially if I already experienced the feature in other games.
Mapping Ninpo to the DPad would work though because Ninpo isn't really a main attack. _________________

I wouldnt really mind if they took out Ninpo myself, all its really used for in high level play is to add extra 5% UF damage or get invinicibility frames. Im suprised you havent commented on it Sabo Speaking of ninpo and how it is there, I want see how good its gonna look. Pretty ice storm... _________________

We all know about the invulnerability frames and frame stealing advantage ninpo gives you, I don't think I really needed to mention it.
You do bring up a good point though, Ice Storm was by far the most graphically impressive spell in NG/NGB, I wonder what it'll look like with next gen graphics?  _________________
