I watched last week on Vox (u have this channel?) A nice Ninja/Samurai anime 0:00 o'clock - 05:00 in the morning 5 Ours every "Episode"
There Were 2 Samurai/ninja and a girl Searched a BlackSamurai ... when i seen this i was thinking wow is this ninja gaiden ??? Wink he looks like doku .. this wasnt an anime for kids... 1 chose his sword swing it around and many black ninjas were headless Laughing

You might like:

Elfen Lied: A girl with invisible hands that she uses to decapitate/kill people. 13 episodes.

Blood+: Only saw the first episode but it had a lot of blood from what I remember.

Not sure what you mean by "hardcore" because kids can watch Cowboy Bebop

Anime information site: http://www.animenfo.com/

If you like ninja anime you might want to try:

Naruto: suitable for kids but still good.
Ninja Scroll: Adults only. No, not hentai. But it has some explicit scenes. I only saw the movie but I know there is a series.
Basilisk: A mature version of naruto. Two opposing clans fighting each other with a Romeo and Juliet story.

I haven't watched anime in a long time so I don't know the latest shows.

The Street Fighter 2 movie is decent. I've heard good things about Fist of the North Star but can't personally stand it.

That Series was amazing.

Erm, Fist of The North Star for sure.

Escaflowne is good but not that 'hardcore', Shadow Skill is great and pretty brutal at times, The Guyver and Both Street Fighter films.

Oh, Ninja Scroll is 'hardcore' defined. Wink

Ninja Scroll was pretty awesome. Although the sequel wasn't as good as its predecessor.

Things on Adult Swim are not Hardcore. Ive wanted to see Berzerk and Fist of the North Star really badly. Also, I dont think this would ever be Hardcore, but Betterman is a GREAT anime.
