On gametrailers are some gameplay vids. I recommend you see them. You will be even more excited.

It maybe me, but on IGN the quality sucks. On gametrailers it is much better and the clips average 3-4 minutes in length.

God of War changed the way I thought about video games as entertainment. Let's hope God of War 2 continues that theme, and doesn't end up being the GoW equivalent of Matrix Reloaded.

I'm not sure if they changed the way i thought, as i have always found games entertaing, but it was very unique, i don't know how to say it, but it was almost like playing a movie, very cool feeling, haven't seen it much though....

That's what I meant. If you said to me that video games could be interactive movies before GoW, I would have laughed in your face. Now, I would agree with you.

It still irks me I never finished the 150-monster challenge in GoW (CotG8).

Really? That challenge blows, almost as much as the last one, i never beat that one, until i used my buddies save cause it gave me so much agony, i played that challenge for four hours strait, and i couldn't beat it.

Still got the game? If so, I found it better to go clockwise rather than anticlockwise. Use the diving kick on the archers inbetween the main platforms (R2, I think), Ascension into Lance of the Furies on the big platforms and use Army of Hades to help you out on a platform you find hard. Ignore the harpies; you don't need to kill them to win.

Of course I still have the game. If I like one, I'm not going to trade it in. I'll follow your tips and see how far I'll come.

My thoughts exactly. It's got a great story but it's gameplay is lacking. Sure, Kratos has ton of moves but there's really no need to use them because the basic attacks are good enough.
