Something like that, so you can execute a special attack (or finish your enemy off).

God of War is awesome. Fun gameplay, nice graphics, AWESOME story, and some puzzles that put Zelda's to shame. God of War is definitely worth a purchase because of all it's unlockables.

It's awesome man. If you have a friend with a PS2 then rent it and play it at his house. It's definitely a game that everyone should experience.

Thanks guys, yeah I'll probably have to get it. It seems pretty cool although I'm concerned with Kratos's anti-hero attitude. I'd rather play a good guy. ^^

I thought it was ok. It started out really fun but it kinda got repetitive because the enemies were all basically the same. People made the story seem a lot better than it was.

In terms of videogames stories in general, God of War's rivals most of the RPG's out there. It's original and fun to watch unfold. This is all my opinion of course. I've always been into greek mythology though, so that's more than likely the reason I really dug the story. Enemies do get repeatitive because you do fight the same ones over and over again. But last time I checked NG is the same way....

I thought the story was okay because nothing really happend. It was pretty much like Xena (which I like). She worked for Ares, killed a lot of people, and then became good. I love greek mythology too. That's why I was disappointed in the gods. Ares was the only god that was different from the others. Aphrodite was known for hooking up with Greek mythologies greatest heros. Why not Kratos? The story telling and cut-scenes were very nice though.

Ninja Gaiden had a lot more variety in enemies which is why it wasn't too repetitive. I played Spartan mode (don't know if normal is different) but all the enemies had one hit attacks and many slightly updated versions. And they all had priority over you so you had to block or dodge.
