Who had played one of the games in this series, what did you think about it and which do you think is the best?

I've played them all, with the exception of X-2 en XI, and I find VII the best. The others were great too (VI, VIII, IX, and X especially), but VII wil be the best Final Fantasy ever.

Agreed. FF VII is brilliant. I can't wait until Sept. 13th, Advent Children will soon be mine.

Yeah, Advent Children looks awesome. And I hope for all those fans that Square Enix remakes FFVII for the PS3.

Yeah FFVII Was teh best one, thats why they got a movie for it Smile. I cant wait too! X was just as good as VII IMO. But X-2 was too girlish. They turned Yuna into a powerpuff girl :S

The only one I played was X-2, I didn't really like it. but I hear that's (one of) the worst.

anyway, what exactly is Advent Children?

X-2 was mostly for the hardcore fans of FFX.

As for Advent Children, it's a direct sequel to FF7 except it's a movie. I think it takes place 2 years after the end of FF7.

Final Fantasy VII get's a few spinoffs I've read. On PSP Crisis Core, and on PS2 Dirge of Cerberus.

Dirge of Cereberus looks kind of boring. I mean, Vincent is cool and all, but Square is going to have to put some kind of gameplay hook in DoC. Shooting people over and over gets old. Quick.

They said it may have DMC influences, so it won't turn out bad I think.

Heh, I can't picture Vincent 'high timing' someone. Anyways, might be worth checking out. Just to see a different side to the FF7 universe's story.

Change of subject real quick, last night I had a dream I was watching FF7:AC and I clearly remember a scene where Cloud gets attacked by like 20 Sephiroth's. I remember Cloud was doing one helluva' good job defending himself. Then I woke up. I seriously doubt this is an actual scene in the movie but if it is... Shocked

You've played too much FFVII and seen too much The Matrix: Reloaded, but I could be wrong Razz

LOL, I know it sounds weird but I remember everything so clearly. That's rare for me. My memory on dreams is usually blurry and confusing but I remember every detail perfectly. Cloud was in the woods and then a solo Sephiroth appeared. They talked and then Cloud pulled out one of his swords and started charging. Sephiroth dashed at him so fast he left one insane looking after-image and then he and Cloud clashed swords. They clashed for a bit longer and then Seph dashed backwards, did some kind of earth magic, and Cloud jumped over it. In the air Cloud started to glow Orangey-gold (Like they do when their Limits ready in the game) and released a MASSIVE Blade Beam which shattered all the rocks and such into a thousand peices. Cloud landed, smiled at Seph, and Seph smiled back and pointed behind Cloud. Cloud looked behind and saw a couple more Seph's. Seph pointed to the right and Cloud looked and saw a couple more Seph's in that direction as well. Finally, Seph pointed to the left and of course Cloud saw a couple more Seph's. Then all the Seph's charged at the same time and Cloud was defending himself. THen I woke up.
