Up high in the building to the right of the manhole there is an opening. It looks like its possilble to get to it using 3 wall runs (1 across the fence) but I cant seem to do it. Has anyone done this? Please help.

The pink fiend manhole after the train crash? No way man, just another red herring, like the walkway above Pleasure Street. No way to get up there.

Maybe so, but I managed to get within 2 feet of the opening - I just cant grab onto the ledge. Have you seen it? it looks possible to me.

I think they made it so that you can't grab that ledge. So no way to get up there I'm afraid.

They always make ' those jumps ' look possible, don't they? It's a throwback from platformer days. It's how sadistic, overworked developers amuse themselves, thinking of the players who will go nuts trying to make impossible jumps.

I'll say. Those guys are probably laughing their ass off.

"Hey Joe, I added this part here, which seems reachable, but you can't by a few inches. I'll wonder how many players will try to reach it!"
"Well, I'll tell you that all of our testers are trying to get there. And you know we have over 20 testers here."

Couldn't resist myself Razz

Those holes are where enemies come from during the game.

I know about "those holes". But do any enemies come out of this one? The black ninjas fall from the sky; the soldiers are already there when you arrive; the pink fiends come from the manhole. Cant think of any. I moved on already anyways. I am making my way through on VH for the 1st time (just started playing NG a couple weeks ago). Alma was tough - took about 15 tries.

VH finally forced me to learn her patterns. Lets just say that the 1st 14 times were "information gathering". Murai for me was easy: just hit him after he rolls or charges. I figure if I made it past alma on VH, then I should have no problem with the rest. I have been avoiding those fiend challenges (100 seems too boring), though, and I hope that doesnt ruin me later on.

It may seem too boring (I didn't play Very Hard), but it is easy essence. If you don't get killed that is.

Oh man. VH is deff the real game. Normal and hard are obviously practice rounds once you play a little VH. The enemy AI is staggering. More of em too.

I started completing those challenges - now I have more essence than I know what to do with (over 80,000). They werent so bad after all. Who knows, maybe I will get the UF. I am on chapter 14 right now; the rest is going to be so easy.
