Yup, but if he thinks he can do it, then he should do it. And maybe he will surprise us all! _________________

I haven't actually attempted a Speed Run. To me, a speed run is beating a game in under 2 hours at the most. I don't see that as being possible in NG with all the essence needed for top priority upgrades for weapons. Even 3 hours seems to be slightly out of reach. But hey, if you pull it off I'll be the first to congratulate you. |

Already been done at least once by Shinobier. Screen shot here
And I would love to see someone pull it off again. Just remember though, for it to beat his time, in needs to be under 2:57 on the game save file NOT the All Clear screen at the end of the game. |

Well then... I did say it seemed slightly out of reach.
I would give it a go but I have no way to prove I did it so it'd be a complete waste of time. |

If you can get access to a digital camera then just take a picture of the save file screen. You can always take a picture of the TV with a regular camera and scan it in. |

Actually, you know what. I believe I do have a digital camera around here somewhere. I just never used it so I completely forgot about it.
Thanks for the idea. I'll attempt a Speed Run after I get through with my current run of HP#1. I know I can squeeze out another million Karma, so far my scores looking pretty good. I have somewhere around 9.9 million karma points on Chapter 7 and I still have 6 encounters left. (The Zombies, ghost fish before the Skull Key, ghost fish after the Skull key, cats in the safe room, the 60 fiend challenge, and then of course Alma.) I'm hoping I can break 11.5 million at the end of the chapter or at least break 11 million. |

Make a speed run about HP1. Would be cool (if you're not already planning that). _________________

At this moment I'm completely devoted to squeezing out another Million Karma points in my current HP#1 game. After that I plan to start a standard Ninja Gaiden game and get to Chapter 9 to figure out how the hell I started that 60 Fiend Challenge. I'll probably do a Speed Run after I accomplish these goals, but if NGB is out by the time I get around to doing it forget about it. _________________

I'm close to that Fiend Challenge now. I just have to go through Chapter 8 and then when I'm in 9 I'll see if it works. I sure hope it works, because it would mean more points _________________
