Yea, mounting your dodges to the right thumbstick did feel weird. Even after you got use to the game it still felt weird. Probably would've been best to have the right thumbstick control the camera angle like every other action game.

Dreamcast: Don't trust Sega anymore. Good thing they went into software alone.

PS2: Glorified DVD player, no real power, basically trash IMO. Sony bites. Frankly, it IS a PS 1.

Gamecube: Very solidly built, great graphics capability, good controller; a great system. Unfortunately its greatness was wasted mostly on kiddie games. However, some real gems in the mix. Mario Sunshine, Wind Waker, Eternal Darkness, Animal Crossing, RE 4, REmake, etc etc.

Xbox: Also a great system. Aside from the overload and occasional freezing, this has the best graphical capability this gen and it shows. Team Ninja's games alone make this a must-own system. I'm also currently playing Call of Cthulhu, Fable: The Lost Chapters and The Warriors. By a nose the best system this gen.

Summary: Own GC and Xbox. Thumb nose at PS 2 and Dreamcast. Twisted Evil

Own the two worst console of this gen and not the two best ones? pretty ironic huh? Cool

For you, maybe. Razz

My thoughts are simple. Each system of this generation has its strong and weak points (I'm not going to point them out, because most of them are my own opinion). I am referring to the big three of this moment.

I didn't really like Code Veronica. Ikaruga however consumed many hours of my life.

I never ended up playing it. Now it's $15 and I don't bother because I hate old RE controls.

Innocent until proven otherwise.

Seriously, I have never played on a DC (came out when my parents bought everything, and having had a NES and SNES and GameBoy...), so I cannot comment on it.

It's a good system to own. Most of the games are great for 'quick fixes'. You know, a good way to burn 15 minutes if your waiting for something.

Ah I see. Well SNES is good for that too. Few rounds of Killer Instinct never gets old IMO.

Ikaruga for me. Although I end up getting into it and 15 minutes turns into 2 hours... Laughing Game has almost cost me my job quite a few times.
