I rented this game today along with Hulk Ultimate Destruction (Which BTW, is an awesome game. Everybody play this game. You won't regret it.) I'll get around to playing FarCry later though. I'll let ya' know what I think about it.

Ah cool. I've already made two maps to play on. Sadly I don't have live.

Is the level creater anything like Pariah's? I use to mess around with that thing for hours. It was just fun building maps... I rarely played them though. Laughing

I haven't played Pariah, so I cannot say. But the editor is very user friendly. If you screw around with it a little, you learn the basics in no time. It even tells you when the requirements for a certain mode are reached.

Ah. Well, as long as it's user friendly then it doesn't matter if it's like Pariah's or not.

Well, I find it user friendly. Heck, even my sister could make a map with it. Or my 2-year old neighbor.

Hmm... I'm going to test that theory. I'm going to have my little sister make a map and then try to play it. Laughing

This should be interesting.

Do that. I've made a simple deathmatch map consisting of one island in the middle, two strips of land on the side, connected with bridges, and placed 8 ATV's in it, along with some waterscooters. Second map is a predator map, with a large kind of forest.

I can see it now.... Me running around in a field of nothingness with no gun pickups in sight.

Lol Laughing

No, I've made sure that there is enough to go around. I even hid some evolutions (feral abilities all in one) around.

its better than that (i heard somwhere) but if you press the back button you get to test out and walk in your map if you press back again you go back to building the map.

That's true. Using that feature I came to realize I couldn't use waterramps for waterscooterjumps in my map Laughing

Well, I played the game for about 3 hours last night. Pretty good so far. Traps aren't as useful as the game makes them out to be. Set a Branch whip and throw a rock to lure the enemy over. Good idea in theory, but as you get deeper in the game the AI tends to not bother to head all the way to where the trap is. They just kind of investigate the area and head back to there patrol. I rarely set traps now. Besides I have a lot of guns so the pace of the game has quickened.
